This week I received an email from a long-time Stave Puzzlenut. He said: "Thanks for the great Stave memories! I've also enclosed an inventory sheet showing all purchases/gifts. Given current market conditions, the jigsaw puzzles may have been better investments and given greater pleasure than most of the stocks in my portfolio!" This represents 88 puzzles for a total of 17,800 pieces according to his inventory sheet... which also shows 25 small puzzles from Twin Farms which I can't seem to find in these photos.
WOWSER!!!! that's like a major dream or fantasy of mine... one day! meantime, I hold tight to my one little first box... and get ready for my 2nd purchase, to soon come!! our pay raise FINALLY comes thru on my May 14th paycheck & the 3+ year retro check come May 28th!!! with that I've promised myself a $1000 Stave spending spree... not sure yet if is will be blown on one HUGE traditional puzzle, or 2 or more trick, or some combo thereof. but that's my next foray & will be my investment of some of my retro (ie. retirement savings as my 401K & company pension funds have drooped sooooo badly... I think this is a MUCH better savings plan! LOL) ...... Kath.

I've got about 44 when my current orders come through and have puzzled another 32 but wow.
